Requests and payment

Submitting the form requests a proposed scope. It does not purchase a service, reserve capacity or authorize a charge. A written quote identifies deliverables, fee, applicable tax, timing, record access and invoice terms. For separately scoped services, payment follows the approved invoice route. The First Record Review has the fixed terms below; the contact form does not purchase it.

First Record Review

The fixed fee is CAD $650 total, with no GST/HST added. The review covers one project, one decision question and up to 100 pages of agreed readable records, with a PDF decision brief, source index and one 20-minute handover arranged with the buyer. Delivery is five business days after accepted intake and availability of the agreed records. For this offer, business days are Monday to Friday in Vancouver, excluding British Columbia statutory holidays. We confirm the delivery date when accepting the scope. Payment alone does not accept the scope or start the work. We first confirm the completed payment, check conflicts and scope, and agree record handling.

If we cannot accept the scope before work starts, we provide a full refund. Any wider work requires a separate written scope and price. There is no recurring billing. PayPal hosts the payment step; this website does not collect card details or automatically verify payment.

Intake decision and corrections

Terms version: 2026.10.12-first-review-v2. Complete intake means contact details, project, one decision question, estimated page count, authority to share the proposed records and a completed payment we can match. The initial form is not a file-transfer channel. If information is missing, we identify what is needed.

Within two Vancouver business days after complete intake, we confirm acceptance or decline. If we cannot accept the scope before work starts, we initiate a full refund against the matched original payment. PayPal and the payment provider control return time. Acceptance is confirmed separately; silence does not start work.

One factual-correction pass against the agreed records is included if requested within seven calendar days of delivery. New material, a different question or additional research require a separate scope. Intakes already recorded under the prior terms keep their recorded offer; these changes do not rewrite an earlier agreement.

Nature of the work

Cyberdile provides research, record organization and separately scoped technical assurance. Guides are general educational material. Legal advice, engineering opinions, expert testimony and licensed investigative services require the appropriate qualified professional and separate arrangements.

Evidence and outcomes

A cost increase, allegation or court filing does not by itself establish misconduct, causation or recoverable loss. Conclusions depend on the record and may change when new information arrives. Recovery of money, litigation success or media coverage cannot be guaranteed.

Permission and confidentiality

Only share records you are entitled to share. Access, technical testing and production changes require explicit written authority. Confidentiality, conflicts, retention and onward disclosure are agreed before receiving sensitive files.

Third-party records

Access and commercial-use restrictions can apply to court records and other material. Cyberdile does not offer restricted records for resale. External acquisition fees must be approved before they are incurred.

Automated requests

A purchasing assistant may prepare or submit a request with the principal’s permission. The principal must separately authorize the specific First Record Review purchase and CAD $650 total before the assistant follows the PayPal checkout link. Neither form charges money or authorizes work. A PayPal return is not payment confirmation. Wider work still requires a written scope and price.
